My name is Karl Bitz and I am currently working in the Greater DC Metro area.
I enjoy following current events, listening to music, being outdoors, and occasionally playing guitar. I'm always reading, everything from novels to popular economics books, and myriad news feeds in Google Reader. I also enjoy traveling and am not ashamed to admit that I use a guidebook. In fact, I highly recommend the guidebooks by Rick Steve to anyone traveling to Europe. My most recent adventure was to Italy this past January. Even though I read a lot, I have yet to write a review on Amazon, which I feel somewhat guilty about because I use them so often.
Most of my web-related projects can be found at Ward Bitz, though I have not had time of late to flex my creative muscles outside of my job. I have a few ideas kicking around, and hopefully I can get to work on one soon.
